GamFratesi’s playful Beetle Chair is a highly successful meeting of visual elegance and functional practicality. CB-50 LOUNGE |
Craig Bassam & Scott Fellows |
The versatility of the CB-50 is the result of the lounge’s sublime, rigorously conceived form, which deconstructs the bulkiness of traditional lounge seating. As such, the form is reduced to its essence — an exposed structural wood frame elevated to fine cabinetry and a system of thin, layered cushions for ultimate comfort. The structural honesty achieves the appearance of a “floating” seat, angled for ergonomic balance, allowing the user to settle in rather than perch.

EROS |
Angelo Mangiarotti, 1971 |
Eros is a set of marble tables which arose out of Angelo Mangiarottii's research into embedded furniture with no joints or clamps. The structural design of the Eros Table involves gravity-based embedding between the top and leg, made possible by the truncated conical section of the leg itself, which easily accommodates the tabletop and locks into a pre-set position. The system is available in various forms and sizes.

PP19 PAPA BEAR |
Hans J. Wegner, 1951 |
Be embraced by the great bear paws of this timeless, supremely comfortable easy chair. The solid wooden frame is strongly jointed and shaped to form a solid base for the comprehensively traditional upholstery work, which defines the chairs modern and elegant silhouette. Consider it an investment for life, as gifted Danish craftsmen spend at least two weeks hand-crafting each chair to the highest standards.

BOLLE COLLECTION |
Giopato & Coombes |
Bolle is a collection of suspension lamps, pendant chandeliers, floor lamps, table lamps and sconces created by Anglo-Italian design duo Giopato & Coombes. Bolle is inspired by the lightness of soap bubbles as a metaphor for the immateriality of light. Using the “a lume” technique from the Veneto region in Italy, Bolle houses a suspended brass bulb within transparent spheres that illuminate the room.
