HEDDA |
David Ericsson |
David Ericsson’s Hedda Chair is a prime example of how different organic materials can work in tandem to create a timeless, versatile chair. Inspired by classical Chinese chairs, the Greek klismos chair, and traditional Nordic design, Hedda draws from a variety of cultures and regions to present a design that is forward-thinking, ergonomic, and elegant. Detailed and symmetrical, the chair was designed to withstand the wear and tear while also suiting long periods of sitting. Its arms can be pushed under a table or hung off the tabletop, in true functional fashion. The seat is available in twine or vegetable-tanned leather, combined with a natural oak frame. Hedda manages to feel contemporary wherever it is placed, be it a restaurant, home, or public space, while still highlighting the transformative qualities of organic materials. |

CHESTER |
Pierre Sindre & Thomas Sandell |
Born out of the collaborative minds of Thomas Sandell and Pierre Sindre, Chester is a chair worth noticing. The contrast between Chester's upholstery and frame creates a beautiful conversation, transforming a chair rooted in traditional style into one that feels contemporary and current. The curved armrests, square body, and slim legs work in tandem to create a silhouette that feels fresh and unfamiliar. Because Chester’s steel frame is available in a wide range of colors, there is potential to create stunning, original, and eye-catching contrasts between the chair’s frame and upholstery, adding character and personalization to an already unique design. Seat and quilted back available upholstered in a wide range of fabrics and leathers. |
