With the Summer heat comes hot, new designs! This week, we would like to showcase just a few of the incredible designs that have recently launched and are now available at SUITE NY. 3MILLIMETRI Studiocharlie, 2017 3Millimetri is a table characteristically defined by technical and mechanical expertise. The entire table is made from a single 3mm thin steel sheet, which is then laser cut and constructed into a table. 3Millimetri produces a striking impact, while still exhibiting a refined visual lightness. LUNE Jaime Hayon, 2017 In his quest to capture the intersection of clean Nordic aesthetics and southern elegance, designer Jaime Hayon has created the Lune Sofa. The functional, modular system offers unlimited possibilities, from a straight two-seater to larger L-shapes, along with chaise lounge options. NOTA Elisa Ossino, 2017 Nota's design is an exercise in minimalism and functionality. As a floor lamp, Nota includes two small trays on the stem, which allows the light to reduce the need for a side table, or simply provide additional surfaces.  HIWOOD Gabriele & Oscar Buratti, 2017 Hiwood is a project that explores the world of present-day manufacturing technologies and the new formal expressions made possible by them. Made from solid oak, Hiwood is a table featuring a surprising shape; tapered on every side.  BOOKCHAIR Sou Fujimoto, 2017 The Bookchair offers an inventive and progressive take on prioritizing functionality and optimizing space usage, by combining an elegant chair and a contemporary shelving system into one unit. The Bookchair is a conversation piece that blends stylishly and seamlessly into modern interiors.
