Salen Van der Swaagh

All of Salem Van Der Swaagh's textile are designed and hand-woven in Berlin, using 100% salvaged material from industrial weaving which is then repurposed into highly textured, luxurious wool products. Each piece is unique and versatile—for example, this design can be used as a rug, a throw, or a wall hanging. 

CEMENT BOWL
Nicolas Schuybroek, 2016

The cement bowl is architect and designer Nicolas Schuybroek's first collaboration with When Objects Work. Contrasting stone and metal materials combine to create a piece that is industrial and innovative, while the variety of options available allow the cement bowl to function as a striking and creative addition to any space.

MY LOUNGE

Soft but sturdy, the My is designed for casual, relaxed seating. The cover is removable and made with eco-friendly Sand fabric—a paperyarn, and cotton blend. The material is dustless, antistatic, and produced with soil-repellent treatment.

Jaime Hayon, 2015

East meets West in Jaime Hayon's contemporary expression of a traditonal Asian lantern. Hayon has captured the essence of this iconic lantern, merging hand-craftmanship and ancient materials like rice paper, into a new lamp design for modern milieu. The effect is a pendant that gives light and appears light.
