This week, SUITE NY invites you to experience something unexpected. For Design Week, we’re transforming our showroom with VERPAN POP(up), a playful, immersive installation featuring the designs of Danish visionary Verner Panton. In partnership with VERPAN, the installation highlights furniture, lighting, and accessories that capture Panton’s pioneering approach to form, color, and comfort. From iconic pieces to rarely seen designs, the display offers an exciting moment to explore the sculptural genius of Panton in person. We invite you to drop by during regular showroom hours on weekdays from May 15–28, to see, sit in, and experience the collection firsthand.

Playful in shape but sophisticated in construction, the Cloverleaf Sofa remains one of Panton’s most iconic designs. Originally created for a German bank in 1969, its curving modules invite social interaction and spatial creativity. During VERPAN POP(up), the Cloverleaf anchors the installation as a vivid expression of Panton’s belief that interiors should engage the senses.

Few lighting designs are as instantly joyful as the Fun Pendant. Cascading discs of natural seashells shimmer in the air, catching light and movement in a way that feels both nostalgic and entirely fresh. Suspended from the ceiling of the SUITE NY showroom, the Fun 7DM Pendant creates a multi-sensory focal point that must be seen, and heard, to be believed.

With its rounded silhouette and inviting scale, the Easy Chair makes a strong case for comfort as sculpture. It’s as much a destination within a room as it is a place to sit. Visitors to the POP(up) will find the Easy Chair impossible to resist and a true embodiment of Panton’s forward-thinking design ethos.

One of the most interactive moments of the POP(up), the Flying Chair invites guests to climb in and gently swing. Suspended from the ceiling, it’s a playful yet thoughtfully engineered piece that captures Panton’s belief that design should spark joy. Rarely available to try in person, this is a highlight of the installation you won’t want to miss.

With its sculptural chrome base and gently domed shade, the Wire Lamp series exemplifies Panton’s talent for turning everyday objects into conversation pieces. The floor version of Wire Lamp will be on display during VERPAN POP(up), offering a close look at how the design balances lightness, geometry, and a playful sense of proportion. Wire Lamp provides moments of glow and intrigue, acting as elegant reminders that lighting can do much more than illuminate.
