This week we would like to take a moment to shine a spotlight on one of our most versatile manufacturers, Woodnotes. Founded in 1987 by Ritva and Mikko Puotila, this family-owned Finnish company produces eco-friendly designs and concepts inspired by raw materials: wood and paper.
Every piece in the Woodnotes collection is an ecological design. The paper yarn is spun from a biodegradable yet durable and heavy-weight paper that can be recycled or burned to produce energy. Furthermore, due to the density of the fibers, this material collects no dust and is hypoallergenic. |
