This week, we are excited to introduce JL Møllers Møbelfabrik to the SUITE NY collection. Founded in Denmark in 1944 by cabinetmaker Niels Otto Møller, the company has spent three generations refining a tradition of uncompromising craftsmanship. Still family-owned and operated, JL Møllers produces each piece with a dedication to quality that defies trends, using traditional joinery and hand-finished details. With a workshop rooted in Danish design heritage, their furniture balances sculptural form with everyday function—quietly luxurious, enduring in build, and made to be lived with.

MODEL 64
Niels Otto Møller
Model 64 combines a low, tapering backrest with a comfortably pitched seat, offering support without bulk. This variation includes arms that flow in a continuous curve, echoing the natural grain of the wood. It’s a piece that feels as good as it looks. It's lightweight in appearance, but built to last for generations. Wood frame available in solid oak, walnut, or teak. Seat available in natural or black paper cord, or upholstered in fabric, leather, or vegan leather.
MODEL 55

An early Møller design, the Model 55 chair reveals the purity of its construction through carefully considered details. The gently curved backrest and handwoven paper cord seat are crafted for comfort, while the visible joinery speaks to the maker’s hand. Suitable for dining rooms or standalone use, this chair reflects the values of Danish modernism in its most honest form.

MODEL 63 BENCH

The Model 63 bench is a thoughtful alternative to traditional seating. With its clean lines and seat, which is handwoven in the Møller weaving technique, it brings warmth and texture to entryways, dining nooks, or the foot of a bed. Like all JL Møllers pieces, it’s crafted without shortcuts and built by skilled hands to be appreciated up close. Frame available in solid oak or beech.

Available with a paper cord or upholstered seat, it transitions easily between formal and relaxed settings. Frame in solid oak or beech.
