BL1 TABLE LAMP Robert Dudley Best, 1930 Designed in 1930 by industrial designer, Robert Dudley Best, the BL1 Table Lamp is as iconic today as it was at its inception. Inspired by his friendship with Walter Gropius and the Bauhaus movement in general, Best's BL1 compounds hard texture with soft lines. Since its creation, this design has radiated light across the desks of many, including Winston Churchill's at the Whitehall. With minimal ornamentation, the base is available in brass or chrome. PK22 EASY CHAIR Poul Kjærholm, 1956 An evolution of Kjærholm's graduation project, the "Element Chair" or PK25, the PK22 is a study in refined industrial expression. Framed in steel, the sleek profile of this design holds a distinct aesthetic appeal down to the screws. Coupled with the detailed stitching in the upholstery, the PK22 effectively combines artistry and functional design. CB-454 GEOMETRIC LOUNGE Craig Bassam and Scott Fellows, 2017 BassamFellows' Geometric series incorporates the ideals from the Wiener Werkstätte and the Bauhaus to create a total work of art.
