Friday Night
Casual, cozy, modern, and soft: these are the ingredients for the Friday Night bed. Formstelle has created an extension of the Friday family with the intention of bringing the coziness of upholstered furniture into the bedroom. In their design, textiles and wood complement each other fluently in their formal language. The backrest swings in a gentle arc from the headboard down to the ground. Midway, the elegance of the shape changes – it makes an unforeseen bend and the graceful back becomes a solid foot of the bed. The whole back looks like one piece and despite its solidity, it radiates a casual rest. In contrary, the front part of the bed seems to float in the air, due to the inwardly offset feet.
